Jamaica’s GIS pioneer, Mrs. Jacqueline daCosta was featured in the Winter 2007 ArcNews Magazine. Spatial conducted our own interview, to find out her reaction to such recognition. During the interview she spoke about her accomplishments, as well what we may look forward to now that she has retired from public service. In this forty-five minutes interview, Mrs. daCosta speaks of her entry into the field of GIS, national contribution to this area, and her greatest personal achievements during her many years of service.
